Road Conditions Update...Hwy 88 Closed at Peddler Hill, Chain Controls On All Mountain Highways

Arnold, CA....The roadways this morning in our area area beautiful mess. We need the snow and it is pretty but it is a mess. Hwy 88 is closed at Peddler Hill so if you are in need of a powder fix for skiing or boarding Bear Valley and Dodge Ridge are your options as for Kirkwood you just can't get there from here. Unless you want to try and get to Tahoe and make your way back to Kirkwood from there. Chain controls start low on Hwy 4 from Murphys on up. On Hwy 108 from East Sonora on up and from Buck Meadows on Hwy 120. For the latest if you click on our weather link in the menu you will always get the latest information pulled from the Caltrans.

Sorry boys and girls the lifted turbo dodge disel will be cruzinv round the roads just like it a sunny day! Maybe even have the confedrate flag and Jefferson flag flying in the bed!

    Well it use to be fun to go out in heavy snows with our lifted 4x4 trucks. But since the flatlanders found our little piece of paradise..not so much. They just have to run out in the bad weather sliding, blocking roadways and wrecking. When they pile up you have to pull them to the side of the road just to get through now. Thankfully the deep snow storms and power outages force some to sell and move though.

    Go The Great State of Jefferson!
