When Guy Debord and I were bored,
He said to me, "It's not Guy, it's Guee"
"It's Guee not Guy", said I
"That's right", said he
Who was not Guy but Guee
"I see", said I to Guee not Guy
"I see not why you mystify,
To keep your numbers low not high's
No way to revolutionise
And change everyday life",
I asked my friend called Guee not Guy,
"To make you see, I have no time,
Talk to my friend Raoul Vanime",
"Vaneem", said I, said he "Vanime,
You get it wrong quite every time"
"Well never mind", said I to Guy,
"Do try to tell me why you fry
My mind with jargon, it's so French"
"It's Guee", he said all rather tense,
"Sod you", I said and thence,
Went off to find a serving wench.

A G&T was off to me
While guys would spout philosophies
To other guys, or is it guys,
Or maybe gees, oh help me please,
Escape these dull adversaries,
Their theories are absurdities,
They're such a bore, although they're drunk,
I'm amazed that they invented punk.

When Guy Debord and I were bored,
He said to me, "It's not Guy, but Guy,
And anyway, boredom's never ever revolutionary"

I have scarcely begun to make you understand that I don't intend to play the game.

We have a world of pleasure to win, and nothing to lose but boredom.

I think you erred in the second stanza. Difficult prose to keep track of but at least you're not bored. ;)

Instead of citations, start hauling these people in for endangering their children. Which they assuredly are parking on the side of the road. (Yea, I know that's not likely but in my fantasy world stupidity is a crime.)

This whole county is turning into a disaster. Too many folks coming up here, turning our once peaceful community into chaos, pot farms, crime rising in every town, celebrating alcohol consumption and throwing parties about drinking. In turn, this brings up some people acting like total drunken, loud, obnoxious fools, which some or most would be embarrassed if they acted like this at their home, but since it's not their home, we get these jerks up here. Nothing like going to one of our town celebrations and having the kids seeing drunk people swearing, being lewd, throwing up because they've been drinking too much.
Our last BOS turned our county into a pot farm without letting it's citizens have a say in the matter. The current BOS kicked that can down the road for so long, the can
disintegrated and many of us wondered if the entire BOS had dementia.
We once threw these folks in jail, and let many out because our jail was too small. Now we have a new multi-million dollar jail and we let felons with a gun out on minimum bail because our county can't afford to keep criminals in our jail. Might as well put a big welcome mat out and just invite criminals here, and throw parties for them.
Enjoy the party in Murphys this weekend, hope none of your kids here the vulgar conversations that pop up like our kids did last year as some drunk gal was throwing up her food and all her friends were swearing, laughing and having a good old time.

In the picture, snapped in the darkness of a Wilton vineyard, Jack Kautz crouches behind a dead buck, smiling broadly as he holds up the animal’s head by its freakishly large set of antlers.

It was a buck for the record books – with sprawling antlers about an arm’s width apart. If Kautz, 52, had been able to claim it as an official trophy, he could have added it to his long list of accomplishments detailed on the website of his family’s Lodi grape growing business, Ironstone Vineyards.

"Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it." - writer and philosopher George Santayana

Hopefully it will not be let to go so far as Angels Camp and the Frog Jump, where the National Guard had to be called in.

"Might as well put a big welcome mat out and just invite criminals here, and throw parties for them."

After a short stay in the jail, they now house them at the old Black Bart Inn in San Andreas. An attempt to keep the finest citizens in our county I guess?
