Would have liked to see Lady Bird do better but Frances McDormand was overdue. Fargo remains one of my all time favorite films.

"Don't tell us how to vote and think"
Thank you, and I would think many of us can't agree more with you
Same goes for the athletes and the coaches. We don't turn on the boob tube to hear of your political or religious views no more then we want to know what time you dropped a bowl clogging number two and how you cleared the drain to rid yourselves of the rest of your brains.
Wanna talk politics? Become a politician.

The world has changed a lot while you weren't paying attention. The arts have always imitated life and often give a perspective on greater societal ills. It's a pity you can't see that. I wonder what it is people like you discuss? Or do you not have engaging conversations? Really, you just sound angry with your lot in life. As far as that crack about "become a politician," guess it's also lost on you that their reputation is one of dishonesty and people are often persuaded - for better or worse - to vote the for the "non-politician." It happened in this country and it is happening on the world stage all over.

You stupid dip*bleep*...I didn't read where the poster said politicians were honest. You assume Ass u me get it ya twat? By the way Hollywood is just as two faced as any politican. I too don't want to hear their political views or a coach or an NFL player. Stick to what people paid for or what they came to see.

I won't crap on the Academy Awards even though I don't agree with a lot of the selected "winners." Just like I won't crap on Toby Keith's music, even though it's straight girly pop in "tough cowboy" dressing. To each their own.

Yeah..like that picture above of Toby is real. He's an old fart, more grey in his beard than Lassie. Rhinesstone cowboy is more like it, red solo cup or not. Wait'll you get a look at all the "cowboys" that go to Ironstone to swoon over him......what a buncha' fags.
