Public Notice

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Calaveras County Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing on April 3, 2008 at 9:00 a.m. to consider possible approval or recommendation of approval for the following projects based upon Negative Declarations....

2005-177 Planned Development Permit for EDK, LLC.

The applicant is requesting approval of a Planned Development permit to construct 22,300 square feet of commercial warehousing on approximately 5.02 acres. The site plan indicates three (3) proposed buildings with parking, landscaping and floor plans. The project site is zoned C2-MH-PD (General Commercial-Manufactured Home-Planned Development) and is currently vacant.

The property is located approximately 1+ mile southeasterly of the State Route 49 and Hwy 4 intersection, in Angels Camp, off of Gun Club Road, east of the U.P.S. building. APN 64-005-058 is located in the Southeast ¼ of Section 3, T2N, R13E, MDM.

Pursuant to Section 15072 of the State CEQA Guidelines the County proposes to adopt a Mitigated Negative Declaration for the above described project. The review period will begin on February 5, 2008 and ends on March 6, 2008. The County will receive comments on the proposed Mitigated Negative Declaration during the review period. All concerned citizens, organizations, and agencies are invited to attend the public hearing or to submit written comments relating to the Mitigation Negative Declaration and the above mentioned project during this public review period. The Initial Study and the proposed Mitigated Negative Declaration are available for public review at the Calaveras County Planning Department, Government Center, 891 Mt. Ranch Road, San Andreas, California 95249, during normal business hours from 8:00 a. m. to 4:00 p.m. Copies of the project file, staff report and/or Mitigated Negative Declaration can be purchased at the Planning Department for the cost of making the copies.
