AG Becerra Claims "California Remains Vigorously Opposed to Trump’s Border Wall Despite U.S. District Court Ruling"

Sacramento, CA...California Attorney General Xavier Becerra issued the following statement in response to today’s ruling by the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California:

“We remain unwavering in our belief that the Trump Administration is ignoring laws it doesn’t like in order to resuscitate a campaign talking point of building a wall on our southern border. We will evaluate all of our options and are prepared to do what is necessary to protect our people, our values, and our economy from federal overreach. A medieval wall along the U.S.-Mexico border simply does not belong in the 21st century.”

Just mow the grass

I agree we need to follow the ideas of one of our most brilliant democrats we have in office. Doing so will not only save us 100's of millions of dollars it will also create jobs. Instead of building this costly, ugly wall to keep illegal from sneaking in across the border we should do what one of the smartest democrats in office suggest. Nancy Pelosi's brilliant idea is to mow the grass at the border so they can't sneak across. I even have a fellow to do the job, Jose, and he has a brother Jesus, who helps on bigger jobs, and for $12 an hour (under the table of course) and lunch he would welcome the work.
No wonder you democrats walk around so smug looking having such a brilliant leader representing you.
If you'd like to actually see the video of this brilliant woman suggest this idea, just type "Nancy Pelosi's mow the grass" and you'll see the democrats most brilliant mind at work. You democrats must be PROUD of her.

Pelosi is ill. She has Parkinson's. Her incessant tongue chewing is a result of Levodopa, used to treat her condition.

    What a worthless posting.

The majority of Americans don't want the wall. It's a waste of taxpayer money; means the government is taking away personal property (yes - taking land from property owners) to build the wall. The property owners have no rights when it comes to Trump taking their land from them to build a wall.

If you idiots want to give up your land with no remuneration from Trump, fine. Go to the border of California and buy the land from the property owners, and then 'give' it to Trump.

A waste of money would be the ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTEEN BILLION DOLLARS SPENT EVERY YEAR ON ILLEGAL SMELLICANS who take away money that can be spent on Americans.
Trump won the Presidency because people are sick and tired of the illegals...the crimes they commit...they breed like rats...jobs...take resources from our kids...illegal means illegal.

haha, you are right! I looked it up and sure enough Nancy Pelosi suggested mowing the grass last week.

But then again, she also said a few folks would get crumbs from the tax plan, WRONG!

She said the economy would never recover if Trump was elected, WRONG!

Racist wall? I believe that the wall is designed to even keep out all the illegal Swedes, Norwegians, and Japanese. It's just an inanimate object and I don't believe it's capable of opening and closing for a particular race or nationality.

Yes we do want a border wall to secure our borders.. What Calif doesn't want is your type, bigot, ignorant, non-working lazy bums, leeching off the taxpayers. Legal immigration is what we want, it's what America is about. The legal immigrant wants to work, to be successful. Who will work no matter how hard the labor at hand is, how stressful the job maybe, they want to succeed, unlike you and the majority of our younger generation who are afraid of manual labor because they might break a sweat or god forbid, get a callous on your pretty pink, soft hands. Your type wants everything handed to you, to get paid for the minimum amount of work you do, physical or mentally, you act like your boss or the Gov should pay you just because we are blessed with your pathetic always whining and complaining existence.

Guess I'm one of those bigots . . . you speak about even though I worked my entire life, paid my taxes, etc. I don't want the wall. I've witnessed many 'illegal' immigrants being willing to do work American born Caucasians scoff at, referring to it as 'work for those Mexicans'.

Building a wall is viewed by most as an outrageous act against a trading partner, Mexico. Trump said Mexico would pay for it. That is not going to happen. The Mexican President is now not visiting the U.S. because Trump refused to not mention The Wall during the visit.

We have many mfrg. plants and products produced in Mexico. Those plants are not coming back to the US. Why unnecessarily antagonize this trading partner?

And . . . statistics are showing that most of the Mexicans work hard and long hours. What comes out of the Trump administration is exaggerated; only purpose is to justify his ridiculous actions. Maybe if Trump supporters read and listened to more than just Trump rhetoric they'd have a better view of what is good for the US and what is harmful.

Stats show 27 plus percentage of our federal prisoners are illegals who have committed felonies against Americans. We have more then enough crimes committed by our own. We don't need millions of more criminals.
No doubt you lock your doors when you leave your home, why would you not want our borders secured also? If you want unsecured borders, throw away your keys to your house too, see how that works for you.
It's always funny how you folks against securing our borders secured your belongings, don't you?

Well that's different. illegal immigrants have dreams bigger then us and we took their land from them. Besides, not many of them live here. I saw that video, Nancy said to mow the grass and she's right, build a wall next door in Arizona. we all ready have a fence.

Mexico is not a beneficial trade partner. Bill Clinton ruined that for America, while opening the flood gate of Cocaine from South America. Look it up.

Trump says Mexico will pay for the wall, you laugh. However, it is a little thing called Taxes & Fees. He is increasing costs for Mexico to do business with us, that is how it will be paid for.

lmao@ your pretty soft pink hands. No doubt you'll have to take off your dress and put on a pair of "work" pants. You can pick up a cheap pair at one of our many thrift shops.

It seems a few folks up here who don't want their countries borders secured, don't lock up their cars or homes or have even use banking services (well one does need money to deposit in a bank in the first place) ever. I'd hate to have children under their protection. Not even a pacifist is that dumb.

"Trump Administration is ignoring laws"? He is simply enforcing the law that is already there! Having secure borders is already in place, Trump is finally doing it.

Bill Clinton said we needed to secure our borders. But now, since there is a possibility that we would lock out potential Democrat Votes a secure border is no longer wanted by California, Snowflakes, Liberals, and Democrats.

They are standing on US Citizens to lift up Non US Citizens!
