Hope the MTSJ district does a better job at monitoring this year's horse "therapy" program than beneficiary Harmony Ranch that came before. As it was, the award basically paid off all the local stores they had accounts in arrears with and closed prior to delivering to the kids and handicapped as promised. Though I suppose the director's couple of kids got to eat and have some clothes for school so that's something.

What a sad state of affairs when only six nonprofits (as stated in other news sources) even applied. So, yippee skippy, you eliminated one and gave the money to the other five. That must have taken all of what - ten minutes - to make a decision.
