What’s Happening in Murphys this Week –February 14 through 20, 2018

Murphys, CA...Try out the Saturday Hopper bus service running between Valley Springs and Arnold with stops in Murphys. Enjoy a day in Murphys and leave the driving to Calaveras Transit! Saturdays in Murphys - Walking Tours of Historic Downtown Murphys are available at no charge (donations gratefully accepted) on Saturday mornings at 10am leaving from the Old Timers Museum. Please contact Jo Sanders at 209-728-3072 to confirm dates and times or make arrangements for large groups.




January 30 – April 29, 2018 – Cattle in the Sierras Exhibit at the Old Timers Museum - Funded by a California Stories grant from California Humanities, the Murphys Old Timers Museum, has produced an exhibit on the long-established practice of transhumance in the California Foothills and Sierra Nevada. Friday - Sunday 12-4 pm

February 14, 2018 – Valentines Day Dinner at Alchemy - Join us on Valentine's Day for a special dinner prepared by Chef. We are not usually open on Wednesdays but we can't miss Valentines Day! February 18, 2018 – Wines of the World at the Murphys Historic Hotel - The Taste of Italy - Wines of the World Educational Series kicks off next Thursday, February 18th at 6pm and will be held in the Grand Ballroom of The
