Citizens Help TCSO and Sonora PD Make DUI Arrest

Sonora, CA...From the Tuolumne Sheriff's Dept....Sometimes you get lucky by being in the right place at the right time. One of our Deputies was driving through downtown Sonora Friday evening. He was flagged down by three people who had just witnessed a hit-and-run collision involving a white Ford pickup. The Deputy had the truck in his sights and was able to catch up to it as it turned onto Lyons Street from Shepherd Street. He watched as the truck veered in and out of its lane.

A traffic stop was made on Hillcrest Drive in Sonora. Driver, 67-year-old Mark Patton showed signs of intoxication. The investigation was turned over to Sonora PD and Patton was arrested for DUI.

We want to thank the witnesses who promptly alerted us.

No my friend, he left the bar drunk. Well at least he didn't kill anyone. I believe you drunks will do good this year, no doubt you'll kill at least another 10,000 people with your vehicles, maybe you'll hit the 11,000 range. You should go celebrate, you guys will drink to anything and everything. It's called addition, you're a drunk, an alcoholic, plain and simple as the nose on your face.
Point the finger at the person who smoke weed, but we all know the killer is the drunks.
MADD is in existence because of all the innocent victims YOU'VE KILLED.

Ignotance is bliss here! Drunk or stoned from weed, does not make a difference, both cause death by driving under the influence...........

Alcohol kills way more people than cannabis. Get your facts straight.

Read above, ignorance is bliss, people are arrested for DUI for marijuana just as alcohol, you need to get your facts right... I know my facts, I work in a field that sees the results of substance abuse everyday, pot is just as bad as alcohol and both substances cause people to die due to the stupidity of the abusers...
