Mokelumne Hill Man Arrested on Stolen Vehicle and Assault Charges
Mokelumne Hill, CA...On 1-29-18 Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded for the second day in a row to a reported disturbance at a residence on Flat Gulch Road near Mokelumne Hill. During the initial call for service it was reported that 33 year old Jason Andahl (of Mokelumne Hill) was the suspect in an assault incident involving a female victim. During that incident it was also reported that Andahl had threatened witnesses. Andahl was gone prior to deputies’ arrival and he had not been located.
When deputies returned the next day, Andahl was contacted and arrested. It was determined that the female victim was also the protected party in a criminal protective order with Andahl being restrained from any contact. Andahl was also listed as being “out on bail” from a prior assault incident/arrest in 2017.
In addition, while deputies were on scene conducting their investigation, a stolen truck from Amador County was located and recovered from Andahl’s possession.
Jason Andahl was booked into the Calaveras County Jail on two separate cases for:
273.5PC – Inflict Corporal Injury
422PC – Criminal Threats
166(a)(4)PC – Violation of Court Order
12022.1PC – Commit Felony while out on Bail
Bail $95,000
10851CVC – Stolen Vehicle
496(d)(a)PC – Possess Stolen Property
166(c)(4)PC – Subsequent Violation of Court Order
Bail $70,000
