Stabbing Victim Sent Via Air-Ambulance to UC Davis Med. Center
On Saturday February 9th, just after 11 pm Calaveras Sheriff deputies were called to the Mark Twain St. Joseph's Emergency Room for a reported stabbing victim. Tim Haley, age 55 of Valley Springs, was admitted with several apparent stab wounds. Initially reported as an accidental stabbing, evidence obtained and the subsequent investigation led to the arrest of Rader who is the victim's brother-in-law....
Haley was transported by air ambulance to the U.C. Davis Medical Center due to the severity of his injuries. Rader was booked into the Calaveras County Jail on an assault with a deadly weapon charge. Alcohol consumption is believed to have played a factor in this incident.
