State Dept on Venezuela's Snap Presidential Elections ~ By Heather Nauert

Washington, DC...The United States strongly rejects the call by Venezuela’s illegitimate Constituent Assembly for snap presidential elections before April 30. This vote would be neither free nor fair. It would only deepen, not help resolve, national tensions. It would not reflect the will of the Venezuelan people, and would be seen as undemocratic and illegitimate in the eyes of the international community. We call on the Maduro regime to respect the human rights of all of its citizens, and to return to democratic constitutional order.

A free, fair, transparent electoral process open to credible international observation is essential to the restoration of a democratic constitutional order in Venezuela. We call on the Venezuelan government to fulfill its commitments under the OAS Charter and under the Inter-American Democratic Charter. We support the Lima Group’s January 23, statement that calls for an inclusive and transparent democratic process.

State Department ought to take its own advice and apply it to the USA. We need to get a snap election and get rid of trump and his family... the majority of Americans. Ever voted for tru,p and would not do so again.

There is something seriously wrong with trump. And he is going to screw Californians, all of us, because the majority of people did not vote for him.

California sends a lot of tax dollars toWashington but only gets cemts for state and local programs. Some states get back more than they send.

The money tax money we send should pay for immigration enforcement. But trump wants our local police and sheriffs to start doing immigrations job. Many of our local agencies refuse to do immigration s job. Exause it interferes with local law enforcement. So trump now wants to withhold more money for CA.

I agree, making this state a sanctuary state, cost tax payers millions a year, but liberals and democrats open their arms to them.
"The estimated annual cost to California taxpayers as of 2014 adds up to $25.3 billion. That’s more than the total operating budgets for some states. This breaks down to approximately $2,370 for every household headed by a US citizen."
If we (yes, I'm a democrat) want a democrat back in the WH maybe we should pick a more honest candidate next time who wants to make America great again, one who wants to enforce our immigration laws, not one who wants to make themselves and their friends richer.

The label of “sanctuary state” is inaccurate and prejudicial. It is apples by Republicans to demean states who refuse to enforce federal immigration activities. Local law enforcement generally has neither the resources or interst in enforcement of laws that should be conducted by federal agents.

In fact , if communities of illegals fear immigration enforcement by local cops, then the cops have less resources to stop, prevent, or solve local crime. Put it simply, otherwise law abiding illegals will not report or cooperate with the cops in solving local crime, for fear they themselves will be deported.

Not only that, when state and local cops notify the feds, the feds are slow to respond, slow to come get the illegal, causing more overcrowding in already overcrowded jails.

California now has the highest percentage of its citizens living below the poverty line of any state. Congratulations Democrats, you have made the once great and golden state into the capital of homelessness, income disparity and desperation. Great Job!

Governor Brown is doing a pretty good job himself.....of screwing California and the LEGAL residence.
The sooner we get these illegal immigrants out of our state the better.

No, Jerry Brown the clown of California is going to do extreme harm to Californians by the issuance of drivers licenses that allow illegal aliens (not Americans) to vote. Will Mexico allow that in Mexico for those who want to illegally reside in Mexico? Good luck Californians, you're in a really deep defecation hole with that anal orifice governor.

They don’t co,e here for a drivers license. They come here to work. Businesses hire them. Illegal wouldn’t drive or get licenses if they didn’t have work.

Try to think beyond your Fox/Limbaugh’s/hannity fog. No governor or president can stop illigal immigration as long as there are jobs for desperate people. Just like drugs, guns and human slavery. If Americans want it , it will come. Businesses hire illegals because they work all the hours they can for little pay and never complain. You want to stop illegal immigration? Arrest and jail every business that hires illegals. Make the owners pay a dine to send the illegal home with a bonus for reporting their boss.

    Stolen Election
Posted on: 2018-01-25 09:05:31   By: Anonymous

The sad fact is we have an illegitimate resident in the WH.
Thru 13 schemes the GOP stole the election.
Not enough people showed up to vote due to the Democrats forcing H Clinton on them. They stayed home. Add the 13 GOP schemes, we will have an anti middle class SCOTUS for a long time, the worst legacy of the 2016 stolen election.
    Some GOP election theft schemes-
    Voter Id
    Gerrymandering
    Interstate Crosscheck
    Reduction of polling places
Broken voting machines in poor minority precincts
Unverifiable voting machines - no paper record
    Incorrect calibrated/ tampered voting machines

In the end it is estimated H Clinton won by at least 4.5 million popular votes

The electoral college is a relic of early America when slave states wanted to have equality with free states. It is a corrupted system. This system corrupts Democracy in America. it must be rescinded.

Trump is enforcing what Jerry refuses to do! I've worked all my life and I resent paying for all the illegals that have come here! They are here because their countries are just what Chuckie Shumer said "- holes! Why else would they come? Dems or reps. Have screwed all of us honest citizens, George W. could have ended this way back, but he turned his back to the problem and now it is worse than ever! ever notice how many Asians we have that look like they just fell off a boat in San Francisco, these people have been getting a free pass while we put all our effort on Mexicans! The worst part is if you commit a crime in the U.S. it's easy to duck back into Mexico, whereas, dropping back into Asia is a little more difficult!

    Help Economy
Posted on: 2018-01-25 10:02:37   By: Anonymous

The people you vilify help the economy way more than they cost the economy.
The employers many times abuse them- deny pay, poor working conditions, while the employer profits greatly.
They perform many jobs Americans will not do.
The economy according to the data depends on this labor source, they lower prices for many products especially food.
They don't get benefits, they do send their kids to schools, but again the economic data shows they contribute more to the local economy, more than paying for the impact they have on communities.

If you want to enforce the laws, start with the employers.
In Mexico the large meat packing Cos run ads in the newspapers to offer jobs if they show up to be employed.

The Republicans will not enforce the laws on employers, this is the answer , if you want to stop illegal immigration, which actually has slowed to a trickle. The wall is a straw man aimed at a gullible group who actually were sold out by the party they vote for. Once again, you were played by the party you vote for.
