MYMOTHERLODE Ads are certainly a little more sophisticated
then this. They even have pictures. I like pictures.

Equally important to note the sheriff's commentary on a cannibas ban in the final couple of minutes or so of the video. Calaveras has a long history of shooting down any new taxes. That enforcement money will have to come from somewhere.

The woman frozen on the video has called it exactly right. The stuff taken are only things; peace of mind is something else entirely.

We are SOOOOOO old in Arnold. That was the most discouraging thing to see.

We don't need more Sheriff's Deputies; we need more Meals on Wheels drivers, geriatricians and undertakers.

That was pretty striking, wasn't it? Though not a surprise. There are no good jobs here to raise a family. The best and brightest among us must necessarily leave. The only newcomers are golfers at Sequoia Woods or Bay area folks with second homes, neither of which necessarily constitute a committed community. Don't see any many of those folks in the volunteer groups I participate and which are important to our greater well being.

With apologies, also here are firefighters and some trades people working their butts off in order to have a home. We can cut them some slack on not wanting to deal with all of this come evening.

Right, only trades and firefighters work hard.
