AG Becerra Held Joint Press Conference to Urge Students to Submit DACA Renewal Applications

Sacramento, CA...AG Becerra Held Joint Press Conference to Urge Students to Submit DACA Renewal Applications.
California Attorney General Xavier Becerra, University of California President Janet Napolitano, California Community Colleges Chancellor Eloy Ortiz Oakley, and CSU Executive Vice Chancellor for Academic and Student Affairs Loren J. Blanchard held a press conference to discuss important steps students can take following a court order that required the Trump Administration to begin accepting DACA renewal applications.

California Attorney General Xavier Becerra, University of California President Janet Napolitano, California Community Colleges Chancellor Eloy Ortiz Oakley, and CSU Executive Vice Chancellor for Academic and Student Affairs Loren J. Blanchard are all criminal enemies of the state and should be prosecuted for conspiracy to crimes and RICO laws.

        Time to enforce The Law!

Be grateful we still respected the words on the base of the Statue of Liberty when your people crossed our shores in search of freedom and a better life. Unless you're Native American, that was the story for all of us.

Then what's the point of borders?

Is the point of a government to protect and serve their CITIZENS or NON-CITIZENS?

I guess they serve whoever votes for them.

Same as the point of having locks on the doors of your home.

Qualify these obstructionist hypocrites by finding out which ones leave their doors open.

Oh didn't you know, democrats don't lock their doors on their homes or cars. They don't mind people entering and doing anything they want or taking their possessions. It's only Republicans who want to keep what they have worked for (how selfish) , though the democrats think that what you have worked for, you should share with everyone else who hasn't worked.
Jeez, don't you want to help the poor, the lazy, the drug users, the drunks, the criminals and the illegals who don't want to obey our laws? What kind of American are you?

The DACA kids - like those who serve in the military - should be granted some kind of amnesty. They were brought here through no fault of their own and know no other country but America. I have had a couple as students who did not know they were "illegal" until they applied for scholarships. I might add both were already motivated, contributing members of our community - as were their parents.

Yes, They deserve to stay and have a path to full citizenship. Almost everyone left and right wants that.

This shouldn't have become a partisan issue. Republicans just want them to love this country as much as the rest of us. The way the Democrats present this is the only thing they want is another voting block or victim group that needs their "protection racket"

Yep, the left weaponizing this issue is just pathetic. Beccara switching to spanish for his press conference was offensive. If the DACA kids have been here for 20 plus years why don't they know english??

I have nothing against spanish and am actually learning the language as an adult now. In the past the Italians, Poles, Germans etc. all learned english out of pride and assimilation.

Of course they still cherished their heritage but they came here to become Americans and not to just take advantage of us.

All we want is the same from the DACA kids and all those who choose to come here.

All 90% of Americans want is for them to become Americans in spirit as well as in fact.

What DACA kids don't know English? Bilingual speech is for the greater community and sends a message of unity. You know - not unlike JFK speaking in German at that other famous wall.

BIG QUESTION? There are supposedly 700,000 to a million of these so called "Dreamers", whatever that means, many have had 20 or so years to become citizens, what have they been waiting for? Now, all at once Chuckie Cheese, and Nancy want amnesty, another position that shows Snowflakes like mass admittance instead of the legal way! What a bunch of smucks!
