Stolen Truck Abandoned Still Dirty In Jamestown Carwash
Jamestown, CA...Early this morning, our deputies responded to Chip's Chevron in Jamestown for a report of a white Toyota truck abandoned in the carwash.
When deputies arrived, they found evidence of a plan that went awry. An attempt to rip the carwash cash machine out of the ground by using a large chain attached to the bumper of the truck had failed.
During the initial investigation, deputies learned a woman and two masked men in a stolen truck attempted to take off with the machine and fled the area when the truck stalled.
Deputies located 45-year-old Narrie Alfaro nearby and determined she was the woman involved with the caper. She was arrested and booked into the Tuolumne County Jail for vehicle theft, possession of a stolen vehicle, attempted grand theft, vandalism, conspiracy, and possession of burglary tools.
The investigation is ongoing and we are seeking the identities of the two male suspects involved.
If you have information regarding this incident please call our office at 533-5815.
