Turlock Man Arrested for DUI after Semi Collision on Hwy 88

Pioneer, CA...A 33 year old Turlock man was driving a 2016 Freightliner and trailer westbound on Hwy 88, west of Hams Station. He lost control in a curve while driving at approximatelly 50mph. According to a witness, he drove into the eastbound lane before losing control onto the north shoulder. When the truck went off the roadway the trailer detached from the truck and overturned, spilling its non haxardous load. The truck continued into a dirt embankment causing moderate damage to the front of the truck.

The driver sustained moderate injuries as a result of the collision. He was also arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and was taken to Sutter Amador for treatment of his injuries.

Hwy 88 was closed for less than 30 minutes. Caltrans and clean up crews spent multiple hours at the collision scene cleaning up the spilled load.

      We do agree!

Flatlanders have an I.Q. Of a gnat and ruin everything good up here in the foothills!

They bring nothing but drama, crime, and their city bull*bleep* to this great area!!

        This headline is confusing.
Was it a complete collision or just a Semi Collision?

Believe that poster is being facetious. And let's not generalize about visitors - just like those who liver here, there are a range of people including irresponsible ones.

          So lets be clear

Calaveras says yes with open arms to alcoholics and specifically winos but no to cannabis

          Gotcha

Thank Dennis Mills the raisin loving -water soldier-who takes cues from hillarys email bragaide. I just love FAKE cowboys. becareful to much exposure to Mills causes the CLAPP and that's something you never come back from.
