Quite A Dull Read...So Far

These 312 pages are a rough slog for this novice of reading committee hearing proceedings. I'm half-way through and there doesn't seem to be any outstanding revelations. I don't know why Chairman Grassley didn't want it released. The take-away so far is that Christopher Steele is a person of high integrity. Does that mean the "Pee Memo" is the truth?

That's why Grassley wouldn't release it. The Republicans are on a mission to undermine the credibility of any Trump investigation.

Their problem is that Mueller and Steele have much more credibility than any Republican attacking them.

There is one new nugget in the testimony: It says the FBI thought the dossier was accurate because the FBI had a source in the Trump campaign who had provided some of the same information. Think about that - nut-case Trump has to now think about who on his campaign was ratting him out to the FBI. Trump's head will explode.

Being in the business of Opo research kinda removes a person from being a person of moral character in my books. Just a dirtbag way to make a living

Op research is just searching for the facts. They look at all public and private information. Do you really have a problem with that or is it just because it is going against trump? By the way, the Republican hired the same people to do op research on Clinton.

If it is criminal then let law enforcement do it. But opo research where a person hasn't obviously a crime is just a gossip monger.

I am against it left or right. Just a sleazy dirtbag way of making gossip sound respectable.

Anyone who works in opo research is sleaze

What is criminal about it? Doing research on people’s backgrounds is common practice in every aspect of society. Law enforce, ent does it, business do it , politicians do it, military does it, average people do it sometimes in regard to personal decision. It is merely an investigation into people or companies or other organizations to discover facts, reputations, opinions , etc of others with whom they might have dealings.
