Tuolumne Deputy Steps Up To Help Veteran

Jamestown, CA...Rodney served as a US Army Ranger in Panama and during the Bosnian conflict. He is a disabled vet living in Jamestown and just returned after Christmas to find his home had been struck by Burglars. Our deputies responded and started an investigation but, until the crooks are caught, one deputy wanted to do more.

Deputy Danel is the founder of a non profit Marine Recon Foundation that supports veterans. He heard about Rodney and wanted to replace some items that were stolen. His television was the biggest of many that insurance would not replace as the receipts had also been taken.

We hope this makes his ordeal a little less painful and encourages anyone with information on this theft to come forward.

I know this young man. He is one of the kindness and gentlest people I know. He was very proud when he was able to buy his home it was not disclosed to him that a homeless camp was behind his house so when he had to leave his house for medical reasons(war related) so thank you for being so kind to him for he is a gentle soul.
