Crime just seems to keep rising and rising, every year a little worse.
Many sites say violent crime is on the increase, then the next site says crime is down.

Merita Callaway is one of the most intelligent and educated elected officials in the history of Calaveras County. The fact that she wants to serve the public again is admirable and praiseworthy. We are lucky to have such a qualified, knowledgable and honest person run for Public Office. Thank you Merita! I hope you win in the election.

There were 22 years when Merita Callaway could have enacted a General Plan. It didn't happen. Instead she pushed through (in record time) a "medical" dispensary in the wrong zone, upstairs against ADA-typical guidelines. Which wheelchair/bound person can navigate stairs? Next she was campaigning for Measure D which would have been bad for our county, worse for the growers she is so attached to. No thanks.

It didn't take long to have another fatality up here.
      Drivers are becoming to comfortable
in their cars they drive. Be Bopping around, listening to their
music, eating food, putting on war-paint, talking with their
passengers, checking and using their phones....DUI driving,
when they should be paying attention to the road.

Just arrest these people who keep breaking the law.

            Its the same families.

            They just do nothing.

Ask Carmicheal. He just swept a assault, DUI and vandalism case under the rug.
