San Andreas, CA...Human Trafficking Awareness Class: Dispelling the Myths. Victim-Centered and Trauma-Informed Care Please join us for an in-depth workshop for first responders and public service agencies provided by Holly Gibbs, Director of Dignity Health’s Human Trafficking Response Program and Wendy Barnes, author of And Life Continues: Sex Trafficking & My Journey to Freedom.
Learning objectives:
Recognize misconceptions associated with human trafficking
Identify common red flags in the healthcare setting
Assess vulnerable persons for concerns
Follow evidence-based victim response procedures
Provide a victim-centered approach
Implement trauma-informed practices
