Injuries, Medi-Flight Ride and a DUI Make for an Unpleasant Christmas for Mokelumne Hill Man.

West Point, CA...On Christmas Day A 56 year old Mokelumne Hill man was traveling westbound on SR26 just east of Spink Road. Due to his intoxication, he allowed his Dodge pickup to travel off of the roadway and it collided into a power pole guide wire and a tree, and the pickup then overturned into a ditch. He was arrested for suspicion of DUI and then flown to Modesto Memorial for his injuries.

They should make DUI arrests as comfortable & enjoyable as possible.

Oh but they do make DUI arrests as comfortable & enjoyable as possible.

First they give you shiny bracelets to wear, then chauffeur you in the back seat to a nice little room where they relieve you of your restrictive clothing like shoes, belts etc. so the uniformed concierge can place you in a nice little room where you can sleep next to some new and interesting companions.

Big deal. One drunk arrested for Drunk Driving, 1,000 other drunks drove past him, slowed down gawking, on their phones, taking pictures, and texting.

Oh looky, this was the guy the ALCOHOLICS were pointing their fingers saying he was a pot grower.
Alcoholics standing up for drunkards. It's too bad you guys don't help all of the family members your drinking buddies have killed.

Maybe they'll name a new wine bar after him?
