Christmas CHP Maximum Enforcement Period Underway

San Andreas, CA...It's that time again! As Californians get ready for holiday travel, the California Highway Patrol is set to begin its Christmas Maximum Enforcement Period. The holiday enforcement effort is designed to help ensure the safety of the motoring public during a time when celebrations are in full swing. During this period, all available officers will be out on the roadways for enhanced enforcement efforts and assisting motorists wherever needed.

If they put one those things along the highway, say about 2,000' apart it might help keep some of the drunks out of their cars.

Don't venture into the subdivisions off Hwy 4. County does not plow there.

Thank you. Too many think it's okay to have a couple and still navigate our curved roads, whether they be visitors or locals. Based on the number of empties I pick up along our property which are tossed even during daylight hours, please consider having an officer on Sheep Ranch Road from Murphys up to Avery/Arnold. The good ol' boys navigate the back road and stay off of 4.
