"Never fly a plane eligible to be president! "??
Take a recon trip to one of our local airports and you'd be surprised. You''ll find active planes older than Methuselah.
Then look at the majority of local pilots, they rank right up there too. Very seasoned, to say the least.

That there might tell'em it's time to hang up his pilots license.
Me being 85, just falling down the hill was pretty hard on me. Them damn oak leaves are everywhere and when the ground is dry like this, they're slippery then a greased pig. When I went down I stayed there a spell, made sure all of my parts were still working. I sure as hell couldn't imagine being in a plane wreck and crawlin out, them boys will probably be hurtin pretty good today.

Get well soon boys.

Was he trying to land/take off with all the marijuana hoop houses on the runway? Or have they broken them down for the winter?

Google maps has some interesting photos...

If you look at the photo of the runway it is very clear the hoop houses are gone.

But follow the road up to the house...that's where the outdoor plants are. It is on another property northeast of the strip with the planes on it.
