Third Indoor Marijuana Grow Seized in Valley Springs

Valley Springs, CA..On 12/12/2017 members of the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office Marijuana Enforcement Team served a search warrant for an illegal/unregistered indoor marijuana grow in the 6000 block of Hironymous Way, Valley Springs. No subjects were located at the scene during the warrant service. Deputies eradicated 282 marijuana plants in the garage for a total of 200 pounds of marijuana.

The house had 4 other rooms that were converted to growing areas but did not currently have marijuana in those rooms. It appears marijuana plants were recently removed from these other grow areas due to the potting soil and marijuana leaves scattered on the floors.

There also was a room that was converted for one of those things, but was left alone as there currently isn't any law against them.

Thank you MET team

Thanks to the MET team. I sincerely love that you are going after the indoor grows during the cold. Gives me great hope that come next spring you will be actively going after unregistered outdoor grows.

As someone who had bad growers as neighbors I had almost given up hope after the first year of little to no action. But things seem to be changing and I have hopes that the future will keep outlaw growers in line - not that I'm a fan of the legal growers either.

Also thanks to the Sheriffs office for the press releases. I know I speak for a lot of lurkers who appreciate hearing about what is going on even if we normally don't post any comments.
