Sonora Man Makes Himself at Home in Laundry Room

Sonora, CA...Early this morning, just prior to 5:30 a.m., a resident of Snell Street woke up to someone in her home. Officers responded and discovered 28-year-old Jeffery Herdt Jr. of Sonora in the laundry room of the residence. It is believed Herdt entered the home through an unlocked door during the night. He then locked himself in the laundry room and made himself a bed on the floor using some of the homeowner's blankets.

Herdt was arrested for trespassing into an occupied dwelling.
