Avery Lights Up The Ebbetts Pass, Hwy 4 Corridor for 2017

Avery, CA...Every year the Avery Community Christmas tree is a welcoming beacon of holiday spirit to everyone who travels up Hwy 4. On Friday evening one of the largest crowds we have seen was on hand as they counted down to the official lighting. On Friday, November 24, 2017 at 5:30 pm the refreshments, caroling (cookies and coffee/hot chocolate) welcomed the crowd. They mixed and mingled until the Tree lighting ceremony at 6:00 pm. Santa Claus made an appearance and was available for pictures with the kids.

I give $50 every year to enjoy these lights.
You must see that they are on private property
so YOU are not paying for them.

Ray Charles put the lights on? Looks like a lit up Willis wet suit with a one of those shiny thing on top.

I came to post how this tradition makes my heart happy.
Instead, I'm met by the same group of people who make thepinetree.net
so unwelcoming. Why don't you take your tiring rants and predictable comments some where else??? Why ruin it for those who are real Calaveras
County residents?
