Probation Search Lands Trio Back in Jail on Felony Charges

Sonora, CA...On Tuesday afternoon the High Risk Probation Team and the Tuolumne Narcotics Team conducted a probation search at the Tamarron Mobile Estates located on Mono Way in Sonora. During a search of the home belonging to 58-old- Lindon Hill, 54-year-old Sandra Cole and 46-year-old Rodney Kulp, several items consistent with narcotics sales were located such as a scale, small plastic baggies and approximately 26 grams of methamphetamine. The three were arrested and transported to the Tuolumne County Jail.

Once arriving at the jail, Cole was found in possession of a methamphetamine pipe.

Hill and Cole were booked for committing a felony while out on bail, renting or operating a residence where narcotics are sold and maintaining a drug house. Cole was additionally booked on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia. Kulp was booked for committing a felony while out on bail, possession of drugs for sale, maintaining a drug house and possession of drug paraphernalia.

We need to have registered and regulated meth labs and dealers. That way we can tax them and give the Sheriff the money he needs to erradicate the bad players. Meth is here to stay, smart regulation is the answer!

What I find hypocritical is many of the same people who say marijuana is here to stay, there is no way we can completely erradicate it, that a ban will only increase crime and the black market, also say we need to ban guns.
