Former Presidents Obama, Bush 43, Clinton, Bush 41 & Carter Headlined Hurricane Relief Show

College Station, TX...The George H. W. Bush Presidential Library Foundation helped organize a relief concert at Texas A&M’s Reed Arena the evening of October 21st that featured former Presidents Obama, Bush 43, Clinton, Bush 41 and Carter joined by top music performers. All ticket sales and other proceeds from the “Deep From the Heart: The One America Appeal” concert went to the special hurricane recovery effort launched last month by the five living former U.S. presidents.

Together with all five living former presidents, the show at Reed Arena featured Grammy winners and producers of 43 #1 hits, ALABAMA, joined by Texas legends The Gatlin Brothers, four-time Grammy winner Lyle Lovett, and Robert Earl Keen; legendary Grammy-award winning, Rock & Roll Hall of Famer ‘Soul Man’ Sam Moore; gospel legend Yolanda Adams;
season three winner of NBC’s “The Voice,” Cassadee Pope; and rising country artist Stephanie Quayle, who Rolling Stone Country called one of the “Ten New Country Music Artists You Need to Know.” Country music star Lee Greenwood will emceed the event.

“The 43rd President and I, and our distinguished colleagues in this 'One America Appeal,' are very grateful to these wonderful performers — some of them old friends, some of them new — for giving their time and talent to help the urgent cause of hurricane recovery in Texas, Florida and the Caribbean,” said President Bush 41. “It’s important that those affected by these devastating storms know that, even if the path to recovery feels like a road that goes on forever, we’re with them for the long haul."

The One America Appeal was launched September 7th when all five living former presidents aired a joint PSA on the NFL’s regular season opening broadcast and launched a website accepting tax-deductible donations at OneAmericaAppeal.org.

House also probing Obama-era Uranium One deal, DeSantis says

The House Oversight committee has started looking into an Obama-era deal in which a Russian-backed company bought a uranium firm with mines in the U.S., Rep. Ron DeSantis told Fox News on Sunday, adding that he’s spoken with the federal government’s “confidential informant” on the matter.

The uranium agreement was reached while Hillary Clinton was secretary of state, and some investors in the Russian-backed company, Uranium One, had relationships with former President Bill Clinton and donated to the Clinton Foundation....

Fox News' Leland Vittert, Joseph Weber and The Associated Press contributed to this story.

Dan Gainor: Media won't touch Russian uranium story tied to Hillary, and other epic journalism disasters

It’s been nearly a year since President Trump was elected and the media have been trying to tie him to Russia for most of it. Finally, after 11 months, there’s strong evidence linking Russia to a 2016 presidential candidate. But the candidate is Hillary Clinton.

According to The Hill, the FBI, “obtained an eyewitness account – backed by documents –indicating Russian nuclear officials had routed millions of dollars to the U.S. designed to benefit former President Bill Clinton’s charitable foundation.” Even worse, that was “during the time Secretary of State Hillary Clinton served on a government body that provided a favorable decision to Moscow, sources told The Hill.”......

Why would it be wrong for Russians to give money to the Clinton Foundation? The Foundation doesn't pay the Clintons and it is a respected charity.

It is clearly wrong for the Russians to try to influence our elections, as they clearly did in an effort to hurt Clinton and help Trump.

The Republican-controlled House has lost ALL credibility in terms of investigations. Their leadership has admitted that the entire purpose was to damage Hillary Clinton's reputation.

You actually think the Russians would pay all that money to Clinton on the come and then support the opposing candidate?
There are no Russians stupid as you.

Jimmy Carter Unleashed: Russians Didn't Alter Election, Obama Didn't Deliver, We Didn't Vote For Hillary
    Daily Wire

At 93, Jimmy Carter is cutting loose.

The former president sat down with The New York Times recently and chatted about all kinds of subjects. The Times decided to play up the fact that Carter — one of the worst presidents in U.S. history — would love to go over to North Korea as an envoy.

But the Times is steadily proving how out of touch it is, and how it no longer seems to actually "get" what real news is.

Here are some major highlights from the interview:

    1. The Russians didn't steal the 2016 election.

Carter was asked "Did the Russians purloin the election from Hillary?"

"I don’t think there’s any evidence that what the Russians did changed enough votes — or any votes," Carter said.

So the hard-left former president doesn't think the Russians stole the election? Take note, Capitol Hill Democrats.

    2. We didn't vote for Hillary.

Carter and his wife, Roselyn, disagreed on the Russia question. In the interview, she "looked over archly [and said] 'They obviously did'" purloin the election.

“Rosie and I have a difference of opinion on that,” Carter said.

Rosalynn then said, “The drip-drip-drip about Hillary.”

Which prompted Carter to note that during the primary, they didn't vote for Hillary Clinton. "We voted for Sanders.”

    3. Obama fell far short of his promises.

Barack Obama whooshed into office on pledges of delivering "hope and change" to the country, spilt by partisan politics.

He didn't. In fact, he made it worse.

"He made some very wonderful statements, in my opinion, when he first got in office, and then he reneged on that," he said about Obama's action on the Middle East.

    4. Media "harder on Trump than any president."
A recent Harvard study showed that 93% of new coverage about President Trump is negative.

But here's another shocker: Carter defended Trump.

The media is harder on Trump but it is because of Trump's continuous lying and boorish behavior. The media has simply been reporting the news accurately. And the media has very rarely been wrong. I can recall one early story that inaccurately reported that Trump had removed Martin Luther King's bust from the oval office, and it was corrected within hours. The media has been doing a great job reporting on a White House that makes no effort to provide transparency or honest information.

Compare the quick correction made by the media in the case I mentioned to Trump's continued lying about Obama's birth place, or the size of his inauguration crowd, or, more recently, the consequences of Republican healthcare or tax plans. Trump's lies are bigger, more consequential and they are never corrected by Trump. I THANK the media for trying to keep the record straight.

Never thought I would appreciate the MAN George Bush is
But with the ignorant, racist, narcissist, a-hole that is ruining this great country, I appreciate all the past presidents in my lifetime
which spans 25 years of service in the Navy, and 72 years overall
This country is in trouble, and this man is embarrassing us in the world
He is a conman and a certain ignorant population has been conned

          How about Obama?
Trumps attendance of the New York Military Academy put him closer than either of those two criminals.

At least President Trump funds and honors the military.

What? Trump IS the corruption plaguing our White House. He's already being sued for all the ethical lapses and self-dealing. He's already lost senior staff due to corruption and he's going to lose more. He's averaging something like 4 lies per day in office according to news services that track them. He vacations nearly every weekend at his own properties and makes money by charging the Secret Service to rent golf carts to chase him around the golf courses. He rents the Secret Service rooms. Try to pay attention.
