What’s Happening in Murphys this Week – October 11, 2017 through October 19, 2017

Murphys, CA...Try out the Saturday Hopper bus service running between Valley Springs and Arnold with stops in Murphys. Enjoy Grape Stomp and Saturday’s other activities and leave the driving to Calaveras Transit! Saturdays in Murphys - Walking Tours of Historic Downtown Murphys are available at no charge (donations gratefully accepted) on Saturday mornings at 10am leaving from the Old Timers Museum. Please contact Jo Sanders at 209-728-3072 to confirm dates and times or make arrangements for large groups.
October 10, 2017 – Winemakers Night at Alchemy - Join us for $5 glasses of wine from La Folia and music by Manny Sosa from 4-8pm. Call 209-728-0700 for reservations.




October 11, 2017 – Nicholas Lefler at Rob’s Place - Enjoy the music of Nicholas Leffler along with dinner or appetizers every Wednesday from 6-8pm May through September at Rob's Place. Call 209-813-7003 for reservations.

October 13-22, 2017 – The Last of the Red Hot Lovers at the Black Bart Playhouse - Directed by Maryann Curmi, a comedy by Neil Simon - Last of the Red Hot Lovers follows the story of Barney Cashman, a seafood restaurateur who is deep in the throes of a mounting midlife crisis. It’s 1969 and the sexual revolution is passing him by with alarming speed. But Barney is determined to catch up to the times, so he borrows his mother’s empty apartment for a series of afternoon encounters - Fridays and Saturdays at 7PM, Sundays at 2PM – Tickets and information at murphyscreektheatre.org/.

October 14, 2017 – Harvest Happy Hour at Milliaire - Join us for our free fall concert series! Your before dinner stop to enjoy live music by Jerry McKay, cheese plates & and $5 Wines By the Glass!

October 15, 2017 – All You Can Eat Pancake Breakfast at the Native Son’s Hall - Native Sons of the Golden West Monthly Breakfast – Chispa Parlor #139 of the Native Sons of the Golden West will serve an All You Can Eat Pancake Breakfast at the Native Sons Hall from 7:30 to 11:30 am. Pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, orange juice, coffee and hot chocolate will be served. The breakfast is served on the third Sunday of each month. October 16, 2017 – Live Music Mondays at Rob’s Place - Ras Beeken Dan alternates Monday nights with Nate, The Experimentalist.
