Redwood City Man Attempts to Steal Sheriff's Dept. Employee's Vehicle

Sonora, CA...On Sunday October 1st, 2017, shortly before 2:00 P.M., Sonora Police Department received a call of a male subject that had been detained by Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Deputies for tampering with a Sheriff’s Department employee’s vehicle in front of the Sheriff’s Department. Sonora Police Officers responded and discovered that Antonio Torres, 42 years old of Redwood City, was discovered by Sheriff’s deputies tampering with a Sheriff’s Department employee’s private vehicle.

Deputies then detained Torres and determined he had caused damage to the vehicle, totaling over $400 in value. Sonora Police Officers questioned Torres and determined he was actually attempting to steal the vehicle.

Torres was arrested for attempted vehicle theft, felony vandalism and tampering with a vehicle. Torres was booked into the Tuolumne County jail where he is being held on $15,000 bail.

Ok, this is enough! Since Jerry the Brown Nose has declared Ca. A sanctuary state every time a person that is arrested and has a Mexican sur name, we aren't allowed to know if they are legal or not! Enough with this cover-up that the Dems. Pull on the rest of us law abiding citizen's! Are they legal or not, and why are the Dems. Protecting these people? Shame on you for making assumptions or drawing conclusions about people just because they don't have names that sound "white" (whatever that even means) enough to you. If you love this county, protect the values that keep each of us free. If you respected the constitution, you would understand why your comment and sentiments are totally out of line with what the United States of America represents.

Apparently "Sheriff Department" wasn't in this morons understanding of the English language. Either really stupid, or just needed his fix at a taco bell !

I mean, trying to steal a car out of the Sheriff Dept parking lot? Person has to be either very unbalanced or extremely desperate. One has to wonder the motive behind the attempt theft.

Your assumption is that every Mexican is innocent! Get off your fat ass and pay attention to who is committing most of the crime! I watch the news like you do and I would say 80% of the people who get their mugs on the news have Mexican sur names! My guess is that many of these are illegals, why is it so difficult to understand that! I have many Mexican friends, and they feel the same! They don't want to be lumped into one race fits all! They would like to know the truth just like the rest of us!
