The "pot calling the kettle black" is more like it. The only explanation is "liberalism is a mental disorder". You liberals and your "anything goes" mentality demonstrates the ineffective public school system we have. You demonstrate the need for discipline that has been missing in your lives.

*** In other news, our Mountain passes our closed due to weather of course.

****Another large marijuana bust in Rail Road Flat, body armor confiscated, felon with a gun and ammo.
Arrested were 51-year-old Somporn Vannasing, 24-year-old Joshua Arduini, 25-year-old Leon Keo, and 20-year-old Thongdee Phuangtan, all were locally born citizens of Calaveras County I believe if I heard correctly.
But no worries, our local Judge will set bail at $10,000 for the felon with a gun and ammo, and the others were released on their OR with a promise to appear at their hearing.

I just want to say there were a lot more conservative citizens there than protesters with signs. By looking at these photos there seems to be more focus on the people with negative signs. Too bad.

I concur with this though I don't concur with some of the words used.
I've been following Tom M. voting record and public positions on issues for the past 3 years. Gone to fund raisers; attended most town halls that are local. After each I've sent him a message: "Why don't you ever say to the voters who talk 'I hear what you are saying. I understand your concerns.' " Why does he never seem sincere when he's taking a position on an issue?

I've come to believe Tom M. votes Republican regardless. It never seems to be about what is good for us; it's about what the Trump administration wants passed. This latest health care bill is a perfect example. He supports it and makes the comment 'Little will change in CA' but the gov't analysts have publicly stated they have no idea how it will impact individual states because (like the other health care bills) it has been thrown together and is being pushed for a vote. Little to no lead time for anyone in the Senate or House to assess impact. No bi-partisan interaction or input, which is what was agreed is needed. It's not about what's good for us; it's about getting rid of the ACA (which they persist in calling Obamacare).

Tom has lost my vote because he has done nothing in the last 3 years to show he represents Calaveras County resident issues and concerns. He votes Republican; not as House Representative voting for the benefit of his constituents.

McBagger is a sad sick sorry little man. He only represents the 1%, not you.

The seniors in the room had their fair wages, health care from a progressive time that it being attacked by the 1%, who are blind to anyone that isn't them- the 99%.
McBagger represents the push for lower standards of living, no health care, and tax cuts for the 1%.
This isn't the America of now.
He is a climate change denier, he calls those who want to slow/stop climate change ignorant agitators. Mc's time is over, he doesn't care what kind of world the next generations inherit, all he knows is the old fossil fuel American interventionist view, that time is over, but like an old dog, he can't learn anything new.

The conservative mind is a curious thing, it is less empathic , and selfish , it only wants things to stay the same, it will fight to keep things as they are.
The loyalists wanted to stay under King George in 1776 , the liberals wanted to be free, and determine their future. The loyalists would of been Republicans.

Ole Mc mirrors the sorry ill mind that tRump has. There is no more loud fan than he for the ill conceived crap we are enduring now.

McClintock must be thrown out, he does not represent the majority of his constituents. We must vote to rid ourselves of this sick sorry little man.

Humm. Did not realize that I was a loser. I worked full time from the age of 25 to 67. Paid the mandatory contributions into medicare for 42 years. At retirement I was required to pay a monthly premium (set by the feds) for medicare. In addition, I must purchase a supplementary plan because medicare covers only basics like a visit to the doctor each year for an annual check-up. The fed gov't requires that I pay for a drug plan even though I take no drugs.

So . . . I'm a retired loser after paying a % of my salary for 42 years, and still must pay a monthly premium for basic medicare coverage, a drug plan I don't need, and an additional insurance premium for all that medicare doesn't cover (like diagnostic tests).

And I believe that at the time he said it Obama thought what he said would be true. He was after all trying to predict into the future. Trump lied about his inauguration crowd size after the inauguration and everyone knew the small size.

Only time will tell if McClintock holds his seat or if he is up-ended by a new comer.

Some of us are interested in someone who listens; votes in our behalf instead of the party line. If nothing else, being challenged will keep him on his toes, and if the voting is close, he'll be on notice to start listening to all of us instead of only those who agree with him.

What some don't seem to realize is that our health care system funding, as it is now, cannot be sustained. The hoary-haired duffers won't have their medical care compromised, but those of us under the age of fifty-five likely will.

DACA is a nightmare, not a dream. Obama kicked the can down the road; Trump is trying to force Congress to do its job and legislate!
