Delores (Dodie) Ann Koerner & Russell George Koerner Passed Away at 81

Murphys, CA...Russ (81) was born and raised in Mt. Pocono, PA. He was enlisted in the Air Force from 1954 – 1958 as a jet engine mechanic. Dodie (81) was born in Hastings, NB. They both eventually made their way and met each other in Murphys, CA. They blended their two families when they married in November of 1976.

They lived in Vallecito, CA until Russ retired from the CA Dept of Forestry as a Fire Captain, and Dodie retired as a school bus driver. In 1994, they moved to Salmon, ID, where they chose to raise two of their grandsons – Michael & Randy. They always loved the outdoors and hoped to spend more time hunting and fishing, but health issues kept them closer to home. Dodie finally succumbed to those issues on August 3, 2017. Shortly after, Russ also lost his fight on September 2, 2017.

They are survived by their son Ray (Annette) Koerner of Salmon, ID; daughter Janice (Bill) Horton of Jamestown, CA; many grand and great-grandchildren; brother Shell (Sandy) Koerner of CA; and sister Betty (Len) Kuchinskas of PA.

There will be a private family service held at their gravesite in CA at a later date.

They seem like a very nice couple.
May their families feel love and support from their communities.
Thank you for your service for our nation.

Learn how to spell first of all. Who am I kidding, you're dad is also your grandpa you illegitimate product of bastard blood. Grow up and stop posting on here if you can't spell, try finding out who your father is or maybe your mom went through ten men every night shift and you'll never know why you only have one parent. Unlike these two sweet people I don't know either, but go online and hide behind anonimity and "bleep censor" sentences like a kid that tried to make his friends laugh and they're laughing that your mom has been ran through and you're still poor and she has AIDS gave you HIV when she spat you out of her nasty trash ball fly trap between her legs

Really. Not the place or time to post that kind of crap. (Gizmo) Try to have a little respect.
