6th Annual "Love the Forest Valentine's Concert" Coming up on February 16th~From Tami Rakstad

Murphys, CA...The 6th Annual Love the Forest Valentine’s Concert benefits the local non-profit group Ebbetts Pass Forest Watch. You can check them out at http://www.epfw.org/. Tickets are available at the locations listed below. Love the Forest is always a memorable evening of fun with a drawing and great live music for all ages, this year featuring...

Schiraz* - Originally formed by Ron Schaner and Erin Ross, Schiraz blends old and new, from jazz to 6o's lounge and folk. Like a fine wine, they have improved and mellowed with age. With Ron on guitar, creating the framework and John Kikagawa on stand-up bass, Erin's Smokey vocals add color and sparkle to make a perfect mixture for your listening pleasure.

Bill Wells* - Guitar and vocal virtuoso Bill Welles gently yet powerfully moves his audiences with his beautiful blend of inspiring finger-picking and intimate vocals. From James Taylor to the Supremes, he takes songs where they've never been before with passion and joy, plus his original material is poignant and magical. Most definitely not to be missed!

The Tour Guides* – The Tour Guides featuring Michela Macfarlane http://michelamacfarlane.com/ will Transport you to another destination, with their renditions of numerous timeless songs. Whether it is bossa nova, rock, country or jazz, their groove will move you. Michela Macfarlane turns the mundane into the sublime with one turn of phrase. She adds an international flavor with her ability to sing in many languages. Michela is backed up by an eclectic bunch of local musicians, including Fred Treece http://fredtreece.com/ on lead Guitar, Tim Fay on Bass, Sam Nilsen on drums and Ron Schaner on Guitar.
