Oh my, pull out all the vineyards than.
Come on folks, if you think someone is growing illegally, call the sheriff dept, and also ask to be informed of any up dates (as in is this place a legal grow site?). That way, if they are a legal grow, you don't waste everyone's time.

Get the f**k out? What about the knifes? Heck, I'll use a spoon, I'm hungry.
In fact, I might start the BBQ early, the chicken has been marinating for 36 hours
at least, and this is one of my favorite marinates. Fresh green
salad, fresh picked cherry tomatoes, garlic french bread (with
Parmesan cheese) fried rice, or just steamed?
And please don't forget to tell the ones you're with you love'em
life is short enough, and you never know when your number is up....or
the one's you love. Don't be bashful, just wrap your arms around them and tell'em, has anyone told you they love you?
So say it while you still have a chance and while they can still hear you/it.

What about the hundreds of others?
First announced bust in over a month WTF?
What does it take to overlay a map with legal registered grows and illegal grows?
Maybe a private citizen with some knowledge of the use of aerial mapping and overlays should be used.
Does the county only rely on complaints from neighbors? WTF?

The lawlessness of the county not enforcing codes, and illegal grows is the question.

          What does it take?

Like I said , there are citizens that could list the grows with addresses using overlays of aerial maps, it isn't rocker science, if you are serious about enforcement.
The land, grow equipment could be sold to cover the costs.

          It isn't rocket science folks.

Oh, it's Calaveras County , I see, never mind.

actually this is a great idea. I've poured over google earth maps (some recently updated in the western portion of the county) finding illegal grows. I am sure the there would be volunteers to comb through the GeoNorth imagery looking for grows.

Have randomly assigned areas, and at least two people looking at the area (to make sure pro-growers were just not reporting sites they found). There are also image recognition software that would help identify grows automatically.

Yes, I know - hence my point that some were just recently updated for the western portion of the county.

Also, the county signed a contract with GeoNorth for newer satellite imagery.

There seems to be a lot of new grower/dealers this year, so much for so-called emergency ordinance??? County looks like a large dump and RV park.
