LOL. And so the season of dumb trucking begins. It's not as if there are no signs warning the road is not suited to large vehicles. Heck, it's barely suited to cars.

Is the Heart of Arnold restaurant still open? There is a 'for sale' sign out front now.

Last time I had my trip over the pass blocked, the CHP officer said he was not going to cite the driver because he was already getting a huge towing bill, and while long trucks are not "recommended" on the pass, they are not prohibited. Cost me plenty of time and money to waste the day's business for an idiot

Check map first!

This should never happen - truckers especially should check maps before starting out. GPS's are not always reliable, especially for mountain roads. And motorhomes should never use this route either.

He was wearing blue overalls, had ketchup stains everywhere and was proudly wearing a bootleg "Trump" hat made in Mexico.

Not ever single thing that is said done r talk about is racist. Can't play race card everyday. In the case of the driver, stupid is as stupid does.

Oh give a trucker a break! If they are not familiar with this road then this type of situation happens. I bet none of you idiots could even drive a big rig and have a hard time driving an automobile.

You still use the ol' Rand McNally maps because 1- you're too stubborn to learn new tech and 2- you can always use it to cover your erection when you're checking out Cal trans workers!
