Fire Update....Vegetation Fire Reported off of Jesus Maria Road...55 Acres, 40% Contained as of 4:30pm
Mokelumne Hill, CA...Firefighters are responding to a reported fire on Jesus Maria Road. More to follow if needed...hopefully not. Update as of 1:26pm...5 acres moderate rate of spread. One engine requested for structure protection. Update as of 1:39pm...Calaveras County Sheriff's Deputies are doing evacuations on Indian Gulch. Update as of L47pm...a strike team has been requested for the fire... Update as of 1:57pm...Just checked with TCU command and last acreage estimate they had was 10-12 acres. Update as of 2:05pm...An air ambulance is being landed in close proximity to the fire...unclear on need at this time. Air attack has fire in the 30 acre range... Update as of 2:15pm...Just checked in with TCU Command and no official details yet on injury that necessitated the air ambulance. Fire estimated by TCU Command at 35 - 40 acres. Update as of 2:39pm..."MariaFire is in Calaveras County off Jesus Maria Rd east of Moke Hill. 5 acres, moderate rate of spread. " from TCU, also update on previous air ambulance.."MariaFire update.
