Lake Alpine Resort Now Open For The Summer Season

Lake Alpine, CA...From the Lake Alpine Lodge..."The snow has been relentless but Friday June 16th the resort will open!!!! The restaurant and bar will open at 11:00 am, the store at 8:00am. Regular hours will be posted later. The lake is almost completely thawed, in the valley it's supposed to be in the triple digits so come on up and play in the snow, do some fishing and enjoy the beautiful weather!!! We won't have boats in the water but we can rent kayaks and for those who might want to join the polar bear club paddle boards! Unfortunately our campgrounds are still closed due to snow. Happy Fathers Day to all the Dads out there!!"

Thank You BOS Michael Oliveria for pulling your weight in opening the Resort. Without you Calaveras County would go to hell.

Why on Earth are you glad there's a bar on a windy 30-40 mile drive to civilization?
It's a remote DUI-installer that should be closed!

Typical drunk, happy the bar is open so you can get drunk and drive back down the hill. Let's just pray you don't kill someone besides yourself when you come back down from the bar that you're so giddy about being opened back up.

Good. That means the bartender will still laugh at jokes about dumb Democrats.
