Alligator Seized In Jamestown

Jamestown, CA...The Tuolumne County Sheriff's Office received information from a concerned citizen about a Jamestown man who was rumored to be in possession of an alligator. The Fish and Wildlife Warden was contacted and accompanied deputies to the location. The 3 1/2 foot alligator was located on the premise in a heated, rubber lined tank and was seized by the Department of Fish and Wildlife after their investigation determined that the person in possession was not permitted to have the restricted species.

The alligator was safely taken to a permitted facility for housing. We want to urge anyone who is thinking about acquiring a restricted species animal to first contact Fish and Wildlife as a permit must be granted and there are requirements and procedures for caging and housing of restricted species.

Maybe he was out of a home because of "draining of the swamp" in DC.

No, that's probably where they'll send him. Trump will make him Asst. Sec. of something or other.

Do you have any idea how many Hmong growers that big boy would feed? Plus, they would craft shoes out of the skin. You know like the ones they coulda' used up in West Point last year.

I have been doing business in this county since 2001. Have owned over 300 rentals and still own 60. The white trash people in this county are the most backwards idiots I have ever managed. The divide between the stoners and the redneck republicans is almost to stupid to discuss. You are all extremists and would not survive in any other county. The most stupid people I have ever dealt with.

FYI the pot people will never leave or stop growing. I have experienced this first hand on many of our properties. They dont care about getting into trouble
