Margaret Howery, 88 From Copperopolis Passed Away In O'Byrnes Ferry Collision

Copperopolis, CA...A 61 year old Twain Harte man was traveling northbound on O'Byrnes Ferry Road south of Copper Cove Drive at an unknown speed. For an unknown reason Margaret Howery allowed her vehicle to cross over the double yellow lines, into the southbound lane directly into the path of a Dodge being driven by the Twain Harte man. She sustained fatal injuries as a result of the collision and was pronounced deceased on scene. The driver of the Dodge sustained minor injuries and was transported by ambulance to Sonora Regional Medical Center.

Both parties were wearing their safety restraints. Alcohol and/or drugs do not appear to be a factor in this collision. From all of us at ThePineTree.net our thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends.

Very sad and something that could happen to anyone, regardless of age.

Sorry for the injuries to Mr. Darling.
