Murphys, CA...Planning to spend a Saturday shopping in Murphys, try out the Saturday Hopper bus service running between Valley Springs and now Arnold! Fridays and Saturdays at Zucca Tasting Room - "Zucca After Hours" is open 5-8 pm. If you're looking for a cozy spot to enjoy a glass of wine on a Friday or Saturday night, the Zucca garden is your place. We always welcome your picnic items or takeout from area restaurants. Saturdays in Murphys - Walking Tours of Historic Downtown Murphys are available at no charge (donations gratefully accepted) on Saturday mornings at 10am leaving from the Old Timers Museum. April 11, 2017 -Lamb it up Cooking Class with Jenny Baxter at Marisolio Tasting Bar – Join them for ground lamb and rice stuffed cabbage, roast leg of lamb with cinnamon and allspice crust, fried stuffed lamb patties, Syrian rice pilaf and cucumber yoghurt salad. April 13, 2017 – Grand Opening of the Calaveras Business Resource Center -The Calaveras County Chamber of Commerce, California Association for Local Economic Development (CALED) and Central Sierra Economic Development District (CSEDD) are proud to announce the Grand Opening of the Calaveras Business Resource Center. Please join us for the Grand Opening of the Calaveras Business Resource Center (CBRC) on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at 3pm. The event will take place at 7 Main Street, San Andreas. April 15, 2017 – Mr. Frogs Wild Ride - The ride has become one of the most popular cycling events in northern California. It features two scenic routes, the Wild Ride of approximately 50K and the Wilder Ride of approximately 100K. Riders will wend their way through the countryside at the height of the wildflower season. The longer ride will also include the New Melones Lake area. Registration information is available at www.mrfrogswildride.org. In addition to the after-ride barbecue, the price includes snacks, SAG support and a relaxing massage.

April 16, 2017 – Pancake Breakfast – The Native Sons of the Golden West will serve an All You Can Eat Pancake Breakfast at the Native Sons Hall from 7:30 to 11:30 am. Pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, orange juice, coffee and hot chocolate will be served. The breakfast is served on the third Sunday of each month.
