Mother Of All Bombs Dropped On ISIS Affiliated Cave Complex In Afghanistan
Kabul, Afghanistan...At 7:32 pm local time today, U.S. Forces —Afghanistan conducted a strike on an ISIS-K tunnel complex in Achin district, Nangarhar province, Afghanistan. as part of ongoing efforts to defeat ISIS-K in Afghanistan in 2017. The strike used a GBU-43 bomb dropped from a U.S. aircraft. The strike was designed to minimize the risk to Afghan and U.S. Forces conducting clearing operations in the area while maximizing the destruction of ISIS-K fighters and facilities.
At the time of development, it was touted as the most powerful non-nuclear weapon ever designed. The bomb was designed to be delivered by a C-130 Hercules.
"As ISIS-K's losses have mounted, they are using IEDs, bunkers and tunnels to thicken their defense," said General John W. Nicholson, Commander, U.S. Forces — Afghanistan. "This is the right munition to reduce these obstacles and maintain the momentum of our offensive against ISIS-K."
U.S. Forces took every precaution to avoid civilian casualties with this strike. U.S. Forces will continue offensive operations until ISIS-K is destroyed in Afghanistan.

They are already terrorist, and for years they've wanted to kill you, gut your children and rape your wife. What would you like to do, invite them in your home and feed them? Are you one of those person if your wife were threatened you'd run and leave her to defend for herself? Who's dress would you hide behind if she were gone?

.....if you're making jokes and playing politics when thousands of people have died and been displaced. I am retired from the military. Our enemies consider themselves warriors, just like our own armed services.
A moment of silence for our sickening display of might.
Prayers for the dead, not jingoistic celebration of carnage.
Good sense, not temperamental stupidity.
I love America. I dedicated my life to serving my country. This bombing makes me physically ill.

Yep, about $500,000 per terrorist. If we're going to kill them all this way, we'll need a huge tax cut for the rich to be able to afford it (typical Republican thinking).

Actually, the bomb cost $170,000 to build. That's a lot of bang for your buck right there. That comes out to just over $7000 per terrorist. You can put my fire tax check towards the next one.
