What’s Happening In Murphys This Week ~ March 29th Through April 7th

Murphys, CA...Planning to spend a Saturday shopping in Murphys, try out the Saturday Hopper bus service running between Valley Springs and now Arnold! Marisolio Cooking Classes – Join the folks at Marisolio on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month to learn new recipes and techniques featuring their olive oil and vinegar products. April 1, 2017 – Calaveras Cares at the Native Sons Hall in Murphys – 12-3pm - Local nonprofits coming together to support each other and the community. An information faire for the Calaveras community that provides an opportunity to learn about community services. Featuring: information booths, silent auctions, kids activities, music and art. April 2, 2017 – Artist Reception at Hovey Tasting Room - Terry Richardson brings to our tasting room a different perspective of a familiar place, The Golden Gate Bridge. Terry and her husband John were given the opportunity to go to the top of the Golden Gate Bridge opening her eyes to a view most of us never see. The paintings on display are based on the photographs they took on their two trips up the towers. Join us on Sunday April 2 for a reception in her honor.

Save the Date - April 15, 2017 – Mr. Frogs Wild Ride - The ride has become one of the most popular cycling
events in northern California. It features two scenic routes, the Wild Ride of approximately 50K and the Wilder Ride of approximately 100K. Riders will wend their way through the countryside at the height of the wildflower season. Registration information is available at www.mrfrogswildride.org.
