Our condolences to Mr. Springer's husband and friends. He was a gentle teacher in our schools and showed children compassion while pushing them to excel.

Joel was also interested in the history of Calaveras County. He was a member of The Calaveras County HIstorical Society and was serving as a Director on the CCHS Board of Directors at the time of his demise.
