Summary of proposed transit services on weekdays: A main route (Red Line) will run between La Contenta Plaza and Angels Camp 9 times daily, extending to Columbia College on 6 of those runs. The Blue Line will connect Angels Camp and Arnold 5 times daily and the Purple Line will run from Mountain Ranch to Jackson 4 times daily. The Copper Line will connect Angels Camp and Copperopolis 5 times daily with on demand service to some neighborhoods. The Green Line will serve West Point and San Andreas with 4 runs available on demand Mondays and Wednesdays. The Yellow Line will be an evening bus from San Andreas to West Point, available daily on demand.
Change in the route of the Saturday Hopper is proposed to add service to Arnold and reduce the number of runs to Valley Springs. Minor time changes are proposed for the Delta Gold Line schedule. The only proposed fare change is to increase the base fare of the Saturday Hopper from $2 to $3 and to enable use of monthly passes on Saturdays.
Service changes will go into effect no sooner than March 1, 2017.
You may provide input either in person at the public hearing, in writing to Deborah Mullen, Public Works Analyst, Calaveras County Department of Public Works, 891 Mountain Ranch Road, San Andreas, CA 95249, or by email to transit@co.calaveras.ca.us. Or you may forward your comments to the Board of Supervisors, 891 Mountain Ranch Road, San Andreas, CA 95249. Should you have any questions regarding the proposed transit service or this notice, call the Calaveras County Department of Public Works at 209-754-6401.

Wonder why the county continues in the red? Knock this system in the head and allow for privatization.

Give the drivers a little slack, after all they have the loneliest job in the whole county! If it doesn't meet its operating expenses get rid of it.
