Angels Camp, CA...As one of Northern California’s best golf courses and communities, Greenhorn Creek offers more of the fastest, truest greens in the state. The 18-hole course was redesigned by Robert Trent Jones II and along with Mother Nature; Greenhorn Creek delivers one of California’s finest golf experiences.  You'll discover 18 holes of championship golf with 5 sets of tees ranging from 4,887 to 6,800 yards that make Greenhorn Creek Resort both challenging and enjoyable. Greenhorn Creek Men's Club Irish Four Ball results for Wednesday, December 7th are as follows:

THE GAME: TOURNAMENT FORMAT

In Irish Four Ball, Teams Of Four Golfers each playing his own ball throughout use a modified Stableford scoring system. The Scores of a predetermined number of team Members per hole are combined for one team score. Sigh up as an individual to be placed into “A”, “B”, “C”, “D” teams. “A” & “B” players will play from combo tees; “C” & “D” players will play from white tees.

After a short frost delay, all teams headed out to their designated holes to begin GHC’s last Men’s group tournament of 2016. Coordinated by Don Pullman, Jim Dillashaw, Chris Borrego, Russell Riner, all golfers were off searching for the green stuff and competitive comraderie. Weather was nothing less than perfect for this time of year as golfers searched for those quality golf shots and a little “Luck of the Irish"…. The results are as follows:

1st Place:

Wayne Cuff, William Burr, Brian Bates, Robert Heise

2nd Place:

Keith Jolly, Bob Holston, Fred Russell, John Pierotti

3rd Place:
