Notice Of Public Hearing For Calaveras County Board Of Supervisors

San Andreas, CA...NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING.The Calaveras County Board of Supervisors shall conduct a public hearing at 9:30 a.m., or shortly thereafter, on Tuesday, the 22nd of November, 2016 in the Board of Supervisors Chambers at the Government Center, 891 Mountain Ranch Road, San Andreas, CA. The hearing is being called by the Board of Supervisors for the purpose of soliciting citizen’s views regarding the close out of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) #13-CDBG-8947 funded by the State Department of Housing and Community (HCD). The activities included Food Bank public service ($279,070), Job Training public service ($186,047), Senior Transportation Supplemental ($178,500) and Housing Rehabilitation ($93,020).


Citizen participation is encouraged throughout the grant process, the requirements for which are explained in Section 7080 of the State Community Development Block Grant program regulations. Interested citizens, civic organizations and citizen groups are encouraged to express their opinions and ideas at this hearing.
The County promotes fair housing and makes all its programs available to low and moderate income families regardless of age, race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual preference, marital status or handicap. If you need special accommodations to participate in the public hearing please contact the Clerk to the Board of Supervisors at (209) 754-6370.

A public information file, including the State regulations, will be available at the County Health and Human Services Agency during normal working hours from November 15 to November 22, 2016. Written comments by County residents are invited in addition to comments at the public hearing. Please mail to: Mark D. To all of the BOS who are leaving, bye bye, thanks for making Calaveras County the drug haven of the state of California, and throwing the people you WERE SUPPOSE TO SERVE under the bus.
Hopefully when the new BOS who are suppose TO SERVE US will ask the people WHO LIVE HERE, their opinion, or PUT TO VOTE important issues such as marijuana cultivation. Very strange you make it legal to grow, but don't allow a dispensary of the crop you wanted. What was the logic in denying it, are you afraid that might bring in criminals and potheads? What difference would that make now? You already have brought in criminals from all around this nation and from other countries as well. Or just maybe you just couldn't tax it enough to fill the coffers? Personal grow was one thing, but legal cultivation, what in the hell were you thinking?
Whatever your reasons are, the citizens of this county will have to suffer what you have done to all of us for years to come.

    You must be the denied applicant. BoS didn't create the grows. Always been here. Media created the attention to the grows. County is in for long term economic suffering do to weak leadership
