Mountain Ranch Woman Assaulted With Deadly Weapon

Mountain Ranch, CA... On 11/09/16 at 2:20 AM, Calaveras County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the 6000 block of Michel Road in Mountain Ranch for a trespassing incident. Deputies arrived on scene and could hear an adult woman yelling for help. Deputies found the woman bound by duct tape. She also appeared to be suffering from serious injuries. The woman was treated on scene and transported to an area hospital for further treatment. Her current condition is unknown.

It is alleged that the woman and suspect, identified as Kevin Eugene Ross (49) of Sacramento, had a verbal altercation. On the date of the incident the woman returned to the property that she shares with Suspect Ross. Allegedly, when the victim arrived the suspect ran her over with an ATV, bound her with duct tape, and struck her multiple times with his hands and a handgun. During the investigation detectives located a registered marijuana grow on the property with what appeared to be a Butane Hash Oil (BHO) processing site.
The deputies contacted Suspect Ross at the scene and took him into custody on the charges of Penal Codes 273.5, 245(a) (2), 243(d), and 236; Bail $140,000. The incident is still under investigation.

A registered grow AND BHO processing site. One where the owner pistol whips his partner. Just what this county needs. Mtn. Ranch is now inhabited with a bunch of freaking scum. Humongs included.

Why weren't these people inspected so they could have prevented this?
Just wait until next year when the stupid sheriff has no money to enforce any of it. Maybe he can hire his buddy McManus or the unemployed Tunno as deputies

Prop 64 passed, we need to actually think about what we are doing, if we ban this how are we going to pay to enforce the ban? If you ban it we will not get any money from the state when recreational sales start.

We managed before the BOS did this to us. If Calaveras is incapable they can ask Tuolumne and Amador advice. Allowing drug farms to pay for drug farms ills is not the answer

The same way we pay for the murder ban; and the rape ban and the robbery ban....we make sure everyone knows its against the law (other than your six inside your house only plants allowed under 64) and then the cops go bust em if they grow outside. You don't issue permits for dumbass, dangerous activities, in order to have money to monitor that activity. That's only going to make it worse and this is living proof of that.

Gee, if we ban murder, rape, robbery, embezzlement, assault, ...., then how are we going to pay to enforce the laws against it?!

Hell, lets just make everything legal. Then we can dispense with police, courts, the DA, jails, parole officers, coroners office...... Think of all the money we will save.

You sir are an idiot ( I know, I know, you think we are the idiots... save your breath).

Since we voted no on "D", "D" never takes effect. We are left with the fine piece of legislation crafted by our B.O.S. known as the "Urgency Ordinance".

This will be replaced by another skillfully crafted piece of legislation passed by our new B.O.S.

      Aren't you excited?

Think of the Sheriff's deputies' time, the 911 dispatcher, the jail costs, the prosecutor's cost, the other court costs. Oh, don't forget we have to pay for the public defender too.

All this so that Jerry Brown turn around and release from jail early to come back and live with us.
