It was alleged that during the dispute the suspect discharged a handgun into a vehicle that was occupied by the victim and a second female occupant. The vehicle sustained damage from the discharged firearm. The suspect then allegedly confronted and took items from inside the vehicle that belonged to the two women. The suspect was identified as 64 year old Jim Clancy of Mountain Ranch. The victims were not injured. Jim Clancy was subsequently arrested and booked into CCSO jail for Robbery and Attempted Murder charges; Bail $2,200,000. The case is still active and under investigation.

He was obviously in a "lovers triangle." At 62, just what one wants. Lol nothing like having toothless woman fighting over a toothless man. Hope no drugs were involved. Only condoms.

OH, I dont smoke weed or use chemical. I do read and understand the misuse the sheriff is using of the media for his gain.
Remember Sheriff you are just a temporary appointed drone. Who are your handlers

Yes because the have been no violent crimes associated with the new 'industry' that has taken over the county. And there hasn't been an influx of criminals & lowlifes coming into the area either..way to think that one through.

2.2 million bail?...$220,000 gets him out...not enough for attempted murder. We need to tighten up our gun laws so that stuff like this is no bail...damn gun nuts!

Why on Earth should we "tighten our gun laws" because YOU feel that this person's bail was set too low?
That denying a lot of people their 2nd amendment rights who were not even involved.

Better yet, seeing how Ca. has the STRICTEST gun laws, why don't you move to a non-gun friendly Nation, like Britain, maybe you'll get stabbed, or get your teeth kicked in by a pair of Doc Martens.

if its that strict how come the fool can potentially post bail? No, the laws are not strict enough....this putz deserves jail for this use of his 'protection'. Another gun nut who uses his 'protection' for 'aggression' like its his right to do so....I call BS on that.
