We know that our expert staff is one of the things that separates us. We use the gear we sell – we know how to qualify you for the best gear to suit your unique needs. We wanted to take a moment to introduce you to our staff and let you get to know them a little bit better.
Ric Emmons – SNAC Sonora
Enthusiasm is Ric’s middle name. Whether he’s talking about the local bouldering areas, the newest disc golf course or where to find the best Mexican food in Sonora, you can count on Ric to give the best beta – along with his signature grin.
Gary Burgin – SNAC Sonora
He’s a modern Renaissance man! His passions include painting, playing & mixing music, and working his late night events. Cycling is his primary transportation, but his first love is snowboarding.
Janee Martin – SNAC Murphys
It’s hard to imagine downtown Murphys without Janee. She raised her family here and it seems like she knows everyone! If you need a shopping companion, you’ve come to the right person!
Suki Tutthill – SNAC Murphys
If you’ve been to downtown Murphys lately, you might know Suki’s on board! We just love all the positive energy she brings to SNAC Murphys. If you ever need to know anything about Murphys, she’s your gal as she’s happy to share the town’s rich history. She can also point you in the right direction for all your needs – from local recreation to international travel!
Nancy Summerlin – SNAC Murphys
When Nancy isn’t traveling internationally, working on archaeological digs, or volunteering for the Arnold Rim Trail, she can be found working at SNAC Murphys. Her hiking, traveling and design background come together to make her a perfect fit for SNAC!
Clint Smitheman – SNAC Arnold
How can that much knowledge of the Sierra Nevada be packed into one person’s brain? Raised in Tuolumne County, Clint was introduced to climbing and backpacking before he learned to walk, climbing his first high sierra peak when he was 3 years old. Backcountry skiing since he was 10, he has skied every month in the new millennium.
Max McCormick – SNAC Arnold
The newest member of the team in Arnold, is Max, the Tuning Wizard. He brings his passion for winter sports and snowboarding to the back shop where he can McGuyver any repair. You may see him on the water combining his love of fishing with kayaking for a SNAC two-fer!
Yvonne Warner – Office Manager, SNAC Arnold
Ever wonder how we keep all the balls in the air at the same time? It’s with great behind-the-scenes help upstairs in the office. Yvonne’s raised four kids, so she knows how to keep the staff in line. She’s on it when it comes to getting the everyone what they need to do their jobs and keeping our vendors happy. How could we function without the zen calmness she brings to The Cosmic Brain?
Shawn Seale – SNAC Arnold
Shawn’s been SNAC’s visionary from day one. He’s always looking downstream and getting ready to ride the next wave. Like a kid who never grew up – he’s surrounded himself with the youthful energy of our staff…and a lot of toys.
Jill Seale – SNAC Arnold
Always the planner, Jill’s specialty is logistics, although she prefers applying it to a backcountry setting. Whether she’s organizing the staff, planning our company trips or feeding large groups of adventurers – it’s all in the details.
Chad Holbrook – SNAC Arnold
A few years ago when Chad worked for SNAC he suggested we start a Disc Golf Department. We did and it made the local and Love Creek players happy. Now he’s back and when he’s not sharing his passion for Disc Golf or Snowboarding, he can be found juggling his twin girls, Lily & Ruby.
