Mother Lode Land Trust Celebrates 25 years With An Open House

Jackson, CA...Mother Lode Land Trust will have an Open House at the Historic Chichizola – Cuneo Ranch and Store on Saturday, October 22, 2016 from 2-5 pm located at 1324 Jackson Gate Rd. in Jackson.

0001-4

Take a walking tour of the property, barns and view artifacts from the old store. There will be live music from Stripped by Hippies (some were winners at this year’s Fiddle and Banjo contest in Columbia.) Also snacks and raffle prizes.
The Mother Lode Land Trust protects agricultural and range lands, historic and scenic sites, and natural habitats to ensure the continuation of the rural character of the Mother Lode.
The Chichizola-Cuneo Ranch was established in 1850 by the Chichizola family. The ranch was a working cattle ranch, homestead and general store. For over 100 years the family business provided for the miners and later the settlers of Jackson Gate and surrounding areas. The store closed in the mid ‘70s, but the buildings and property have remained as they were long ago.
For more information about the event or the Mother Lode Land Trust call (209) 304-8804 or visit www.motherlodelandtrust.org.
