Mokelumne Hill Man Perishes In ATV Collision

Mokelumne Hill, CA...On 06/27/2016 at approximately 1730 hours, a 65 year old Mokelumne Hill man was riding an Arctic Cat ATV eastbound on Jesus Maria Rd., west of Baker Riley Way. For an undetermined reason, he turned the ATV to the right causing it to travel off the south side of the roadway. The front of the Arctic Cat collided with a Dodge 3500 truck that was parked, facing in a northerly direction in a driveway. As a result of the collision, he was ejected from the ATV and came to rest in the roadway. He succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The use of alcohol is suspected as a contributing factor in this collision. P-1 was not wearing a helmet at the time of the collision.

fatalatv

The name of the driver is being withheld by the Coroner pending notification of next of kin.

This is the first fatal traffic collision in Calaveras County for 2016.

ATV COLLISION

I do not understand why this site does not DELETE Inappropriate Comments.. When someone has passed, you don't post negative comments, keep them to yourself. I do believe it is the intent of The Pine Tree to have people post condolences, rather than the immature, stupid comments. Really people?! Grow Up!

I would like to extend my condolences to this family.

Or maybe the pinetree.net should grow up and start requiring a login before allowing postings...
